Welcome to the 911th Support Command page.

The 911th Support Command is comprised of highly trained, skilled personnel who apply their civilian talents to the primary mission of the 911th Support Command , which is to provide special skills augmentation to the GaSDF, the Georgia Army and Air National Guard, and civilian offices of the Georgia DOD.

The 911th Support Command does not have an AO of its own. We are a statewide augmentation force. We are ready to assist the field Brigades with specific skills and manpower resources.

911th Support Command staff members are:

Units within the 911th Support Command are:

• Information Technology (IT)
  The IT Company works with the SDF, GaDOD and the GaARNG units in the development and support of the IT infrastructure, databases and communications systems. Under the direction of 1LT J.C. McElroy, this team provides talent in database creation and maintenance and internet-telecommunications systems.

• Communications (COMMO)
  The Communications Company, also within Signal, coordinates the radio communications within the SDF, assists GaARNG units during exercise and real-world events and is working with local Amateur Radio organizations in preparation of a major event occurrence in the State of Georgia. Under the direction of 1LT Roger Shaddick, COMMO will be "Ready to Serve" the GSDF, state and local communities when they are needed.

• Environmental Systems Support (ESSU)
  The ESSU team works with GaARNG CFMO units in the inspection, maintenance and upgrading/compliance of DoD and Guard physical assets such as armories. Under the leadership of CPT Dan Clarke, this unit consists of Civil engineers, Surveyors, HVAC and Electrical Engineering personnel.

• Emergency Operations Center/State Operations Center (EOC/SOC)
  The EOC/SOC team works closely with GaDOD/JOPS and GEMA in the running of their respective Operations Centers. This team, under the leadership of 1LT(P) Paul Nattis, provides knowledge in systems operations, emergency communications and emergency operations software.

• Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR)
  The ESGR team, led by MAJ Edith Primm, provides contact, information and direction in such areas as the Soldiers and Sailors Act to civic, governmental and private sector entities. All members of this team are Georgia Certified Attorneys.

• Emergency Support Team/Weapons of Mass Destruction (EST/WMD)
  The EST/WMD team works closely with the 4CST – GaARNG, and provides resources, training and knowledge in the areas of WMD and CBRNE activities. This team is headed up by MAJ Bill McShane and consists of chemists, engineers, physicists and medically trained personnel.

• Command Logistics (DCSLOG)
  DCSLOG is probably, after IT, the busiest unit in the SG. Led by CPT Robert E. Ross, this team provides project management and strategic planning skills to GaARNG Logistics offices. They were instrumental in planning and executing troop deployments and annual training.
