Current Openings
We invite musicians with 3 or more years of musical experience at the high
school band level or higher to apply.
- Former military band, college, or high school musicians are eligible.
- Prior service in the military or a military band is not required.
- Band members do not enlist or "join" one of the Armed Forces.
Positions are available in most sections.
Auditions are currently being accepted for

When all musical positions are filled, the
band will field Music Support Teams that can provide a variety
of performing ensembles, including a:
The band provides you an opportunity to:
- perform with a quality musical ensemble in a variety of settings;
- play a wide range of music;
- gain significant intrinsic value by entertaining others;
- support your fellow Georgia citizens in their communities;
- learn CPR, first aid, and other skills that may be useful in civilian life.
requirements for each are included below:

Full time:
- participate in all annually scheduled semi-monthly rehearsals/performances;
- uniform purchase approximately $135

Part-time (Ready Reserve):
- participate in 4 - 6 scheduled semi-monthly rehearsals/performances annually;
- uniform purchase approximately $135

Guest musician/auxiliary:
- participate in scheduled semi-monthly rehearsals/performances (as many as possible);
- No uniform required - Appropriate civilian attire is prescribed by the Band Commander.
The band performs concerts, parades, and ceremonies in various Georgia communities and for Defense Force units. The band is not an armed force and does not deploy.
