Regarding Unit Crests ~ Distinctive Unit
Insignia:
The only Georgia State Defense Force crest authorized for wear
is that which is issued by Headquarters, G-4.
For officers, crests are worn on the shoulder epaulettes of the
Class A, Class B and Dress Blue uniforms.
For enlisted personnel, crests are worn on the beret as well as
on the shoulder epaulettes of the Class A, Class B and Dress
Blue uniforms.
No State Defense Force crest (for Georgia or any other state) is
to be worn above the right pocket of any uniform.
The only Unit Crests ~ Distinctive Unit Insignia authorized for wear above the right pocket of
the Class A, Class B and Dress Blue uniforms are active unit
crests for soldiers who served in those units. Multiple crests
are not authorized.
